We know that there are many pathways that we can use to find our place in life; who starts with the things that are going on all around, learning to find and eventually begins to understand the possibilities.
After we file and store so many conversations and talks we have with our family, friends, and all others that we surround ourselves with, then by and by we sometimes forget what we have learned over time. Not remembering our past mistakes as quickly as we should or remembering them for far too long, so why then do we have books on history, or journals from our very own family members who have lived on before?
Are we going to listen at all?
There are a few ways to actually listen:
first, through pure conversation,
second, is by perception of what you've grasped, and
third, how you feel about it, because if you really care about you would stand and raise a banner making it known to the whole world that "I have standards"
What you do with your choices will effect everyone on a personal level! Because we impact each other's lives daily! There is absolutely no way around it.
There always has been the attribute of listener. Even though, at times like all children, we let the loving direction of our parents go in one ear and straight out the other; however, if done properly, we can remember what our parents have said or taught us about growing up, continuing to listen to their advice as we talk with them about what we are experincing.
Ask anyone where they stand in this Earthly existence, and they if open enough will tell you of their trials, challenges, and temptations. However, it takes our determination to be obedient in following Jesus Christ, because each of us at birth is given a gift, the Light of Christ. The gospel continues to expand our mind because there is a nutriant soil we can plant our feet. By so doing we gain spiritual growth moving us ever closer to God!!
